A simple mission
Better partnerships make better products
Our mission is to foster an environment of creative collaboration where design thinkers and engineers challenge each other to build better solutions.
Without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement.
Representation, inclusion and diversity in tech is not just about optics—diverse perspectives build better products and experiences that speak to more people.
It’s not just what we do, it’s how we do it.
We want everyone to understand the value of good interactive design, so we skip the jargon and put users first.
Representation matters. We believe that a fully realized digital world will support equal opportunity for all.
We question everything, and challenge brands across industries to embrace the unknown in seeking original solutions.
We know it’s tricky to layer realities – that’s why we work to make every step of our process transparent.
Meet the team
Her work experience in fashion marketing and operational management in the luxury sector spans China, India, France, Canada, Australia and the UK. She cares about creating inclusive spaces for women in tech, treating clients and partners with fairness and transparency, and believes technology and style should not be mutually exclusive. She moved back to Canada in late 2016, and her previous startup experience includes leading roles at two early stage ventures in Shanghai. She firmly believes AR is going to change the way we interact with products online.
After founding her own illustration studio at the age of 14, she’s used to proving others wrong about the negative assumptions towards youth in business. She’s worked as a Producer and Art Director to release AR/VR titles and Nintendo Switch games. A champion of diversity and inclusion in tech, games and comics, she’s been working with agencies and private clients for the past decade to wrangle complex projects and lift the stigma. In her free time she enjoys playing RPGs, exploring used book stores and walking her rescue pup.
He's a computer engineer, founder and former CTO of a successful SaaS company. After helping design & develop an award winning mobile computer vision project to detect eye cataracts with just an iPhone 4, he's returning to his roots in pushing the next generation of AR technologies forward. Working out of Vancouver (on a mountain top or coffee shop) he's helping the AAR team prove the next generation of mobile AR tech, and hopefully not smashing phone screens in the process—though his track record may say otherwise.
